The following year brought third-place finishes in the Grands Prix of Rotterdam, Calgary and ’s-Hertogenbosch, participation in the Paris Olympic Games and second place in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. His first offspring stand out for their scope, speed, temperament and trainability.
