Chellano Z proved his ability in international showjumping up to 1.60 m level, but made his greatest mark as a sire. HH Carlos Z won five-star Grands Prix and Nations Cups with McLain Ward, while Chill R Z and VDL Edgar M also competed at the highest international level. This Holsteiner son of Contender out of a Cor de la Bryère mare comes from the influential damline of Corrado I. His influence also lives on through his daughters: Chellano Z is notably the damsire of Aganix du Seigneur Z and Highway TN. Despite his untimely death, he left a lasting legacy in international showjumping breeding.
