Baloubet du Rouet made showjumping history with Rodrigo Pessoa. He remains the only horse to have won three consecutive World Cup Finals, from 1998 to 2000. He also claimed team bronze at the Sydney Olympic Games before becoming individual Olympic champion in Athens in 2004. Baloubet left an equally exceptional legacy as a sire. His best-known offspring include leading sire Balou du Rouet, Chaman and Olympic team medallist Bubalu VDL. Baloubet combined explosive scope, speed and an outstanding will to win. Through his sire Galoubet A and damsire Starter, his pedigree unites two cornerstones of French showjumping breeding.\r\n
